With our latest update, you can now perform multiple actions at once, for one or several rooms, and even select different time periods to apply these actions to. Imagine setting your availability, adjusting prices, and managing restrictions across all rooms and date ranges with just a few clicks. It's like having a hotel management superpower!

Preserving restrictions:
For derived plans (the ones you've previously set up as deriving from your standard rate), all your restrictions stay intact, ensuring consistency and control.
Action restrictions:
To maintain logical consistency, you cannot select conflicting actions (like opening and closing a rate simultaneously) or duplicate actions.

A Step-by-Step Guide 👩‍💻

1️⃣ Head over to the Planning> Inventory tab in your Amenitiz administrator area. It's on the left sidebar - impossible to miss!

2️⃣ Click on the 'Bulk Update' button. It's your gateway to efficiency.💨

3️⃣ Room and Rate selection: start by selecting one or multiple rooms and rate plans you wish to update. It's like gathering your team before laying out the game plan.

4️⃣ Date Range selection: Next, choose the date range(s) for your updates. Whether it’s for a specific season or various periods throughout the year, you have the flexibility to select one or multiple ranges.

5️⃣ Action selection

Now, let's dive into the actions you can perform:

• Open rate/Close rate: Set your property as open or closed for bookings. If you want to be visible and bookable on your website and OTAs (like Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, etc.) you'll need to open your rates.
  

  🎩 Pro Tip: By default, all rate plans are set to closed, so you'll need to open them to start accepting bookings.

• Set availability: Update the number of rooms available for booking during specific periods. This is particularly useful for managing inventory when integrating bookings from different sources or handling manual reservations. You can set the availability to a specific number of rooms, ensuring that your inventory reflects the actual number of rooms available.

• Set price: Adjust the price of your rooms for specific time periods. This feature allows you to respond dynamically to demand, ensuring your pricing strategy is always optimised. Remember, changes to the primary rate plan will affect any derived rate plans.

• Set minimum stay/maximum stay: Control the minimum and maximum number of nights guests can book. This is part of the restrictions set within a rate plan. If the restrictions are linked, changes will apply to all linked plans. This is ideal for managing special promotions or ensuring longer stays during peak periods.

• Open/close room's arrival/departure: Manage your property's arrival and departure policies, such as preventing arrivals or departures on specific dates. This action is part of your rate plan's restrictions and helps in planning around operational constraints or special events.

The action selection step allows you to apply one or multiple actions, providing a buffet of choices to customise your strategy perfectly.

6️⃣ Hit Update > Confirm. Bam! ✨ Your changes are now set across all selected rooms, rates, and date ranges. It's as satisfying as clicking the 'send' button on an email you've spent hours perfecting.
