Create, send and cancel a payment link with AmenitizPay

It is possible to send payment links from your Amenitiz reservations, you might need to send one to a guest for a booking that you have made through the phone. This article explains you how to generate and send a payment link.

 

What is a payment link ?
A payment link is an online payment which is generated and shared through a link by the merchant to the customer, to make instant online payments.
  • 1/ Create a payment link

    To create a payment link, please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to > Reservations in your Amenitiz administrator area left sidebar.

    2. Click on > View booking details of the reservation

    3. Go in the Payments section, click on Create a payment

    4. Enter the amount your guest has to pay and click on > Payment link.

      You can also send a payment link from the summary of the reservation:

      Here is what the email sent to your guests for the payment link looks like:

    2/ Send a payment link

    If you added an email address, the payment link will be sent to your guest by email.
    A new page will automatically open, and you can send it by email, Whatsapp or with a QR code.

    On the Payments section of your reservation, click on the eye at the right:

    You can then choose to send it through Whatsapp, by email again, to copy the link, and the guest can also scan the QR code to access the payment link page:

    3/ Cancel a payment link

    To cancel a payment link, go to the Payments section of your reservation and click on the eye at the right

  • To manage your payments from the mobile version or from the application, follow the next steps:

    1. You can first log in to your account or to the application.
    2. Then, click on the reservation you want to manage, either from the “activity” tab, or from the "calendar" tab.
    3. You will be landed on the details of the reservation, from here you can click on "create a payment":

    4. You can then process the payment:

      Choose the amount you want, and you will be able to proceed with the payment.
