Authorisations will always be held 30 days from the day of arrival, and be automatically released after 30 days. This article explains how to release authorisations before, if your client is staying less than a week for example.
In order to release an authorisation that has been made by AmenitizPay for one of your bookings, please follow the steps below:
- Go to > Reservations and search the desired reservation
- Click on > View booking details
- Go to the Payments section and scroll down to the Authorisation section
- Click on the three small dots under the options and click on > Release authorisation
When releasing the authorisation, the amount is no longer blocked on the traveler's account, and you can no longer capture/debit the authorisation.
