🛏️ Creating an accommodation
To create an accommodation, navigate to > Property in the sidebar of your administrator area, then go to > Rooms.
1️⃣ Click on > Add a new room. ( At the bottom of the page )
📌 If you want to connect your accommodations to the channel manager, the structure must match the one on the OTA. (For example, if you have 1 double room with 5 units on Booking.com, it should be the same in Amenitiz.)
📌 The number of units for each room type is set when creating the accommodation. To add or remove units later, please contact Customer Support at support@amenitiz.com.

✏️ Editing an accommodation
2️⃣ To modify an accommodation, click on the three dots and select > Edit accommodation.
Then, you can update the following details:
- ✅ Accommodation type: Choose between cottage and rooms for proper synchronization.
- ✅ Name & description: Required fields visible on your website.
- ✅ Capacity & size: Optional.
- ✅ Room view: Optional.
- ✅ Pricing: Set a default price (specific pricing can be set later in Inventory).
- ✅ Booking engine & website visibility: Define its visibility settings.
- ✅ Bedding arrangements: Mandatory field defining bed types and quantity.
- ✅ Amenities: Optional. See how to add amenities.
- ✅ Accommodation images: Optional.
- ✅ Click > Save to apply changes.
📌 If the accommodation name, description, or bedding arrangements are not filled in all languages, the accommodation cannot be created or updated.
❌ Deleting an accommodation
3️⃣ If you want to delete an accommodation, ensure these conditions are met before proceeding:
- ✅ The accommodation is no longer listed for sale.
- ✅ There are no active or upcoming reservations associated with it.
- ✅ You have saved all necessary reports. Once deleted, report links will no longer be accessible.
If all conditions are met, the account owner must send an email to our Customer Support team at support@amenitiz.com from the registered owner email address. The request must include:
📌 The exact name of the accommodation to be deleted.
⚠️ Important: Deleting an accommodation is irreversible. Ensure you have backed up all necessary information before proceeding.
📌 The information about your accomodations is only visible on your booking engine and website; it will not be sent to OTAs.
