You have two options for translating your content:
- Let Amenitiz handle it — We can translate your entire website for you at €70 per language (excluding taxes). Just get in touch with your Account Manager or contact our support team.
- Add them yourself following the steps below.
Step-by-Step guide
1️⃣ Activate the language
-
Head over to your Amenitiz admin area.
-
Go to Settings > Languages.
-
Click the three dots next to the language you want to activate, then select 'Add a language.'
-
Once added, make sure it's active (you'll see a little green toggle when it’s live).
2️⃣ Translate your website and booking engine content
Once the language is activated, it’s time to translate all the visible content on your site and booking engine.
-
In your admin area, click on Settings in the sidebar.
-
A submenu will appear — click on Translations.
-
At the top of the screen, you’ll see a language drop-down menu. Use it to select the language you want to translate.
-
Below, you’ll find different sections to work on:
-
Website – for all your page content
-
Menu – for your navigation menus
-
Extras – for extras and add-ons you offer
-
And more!
-
When you choose a language and section, your website will refresh in that specific language. All the title and text fields will now be editable in that language. Simply enter your translated content directly into the fields.
🖱️ No need to hit 'Save' — everything is saved automatically as you type.
💡 If you’ve activated several languages but haven’t translated certain elements, they’ll appear blank to visitors. In that case, Amenitiz will display the default text of the element (usually in your primary language).
3️⃣ Translate individual pieces of content
Adding a new room description, a new extra, or updating your homepage? You can also translate these specific bits right where you add them:
-
Look for the small flag icons 🏳️ next to text fields when editing rooms, extras, or any section with multilingual support.
-
Click on a flag to open the translation field for that specific language.
This method is super useful for quick updates without going through the main Translations section.
4️⃣ Translate automated emails
🛑 Emails are a bit different!
You cannot translate your automated emails from the Translations section.
To manage your email translations:
-
Go to Settings > Emails
-
Open each email and click on the language tabs to add translations for each one.
This ensures your guests receive communications in their preferred language — from booking confirmations to check-out messages.
5️⃣ Translate SEO and page titles
Your website’s visibility in search engines also depends on the correct translation of your SEO content. Here’s how to update it per language:
- Click on Webiste > SEO — from your Amenitiz sidebar.
- Use the language flags — click on the flag of the language you want to work on.
-
Edit the SEO tab — Here you can update:
- The page title (what appears in Google)
- The meta description (the short summary under your link in search results)
