This article walks you through opening an account with the three most common OTAs so you can then connect them to Amenitiz: Booking.com, Airbnb, and Expedia. The steps happen on each OTA's partner portal — not inside Amenitiz — and Amenitiz takes over once the listing is live.
Use this article before you connect a new OTA in the Channel manager.
Before you start
Have the property ready: exact address, room/unit count, high-quality photos, a detailed description, and house rules.
Decide on a payout method (bank account or PayPal) for each OTA.
Be prepared for identity and address verification — Booking.com and Expedia can take up to 7–10 days.
Once the listing is live, connect it to Amenitiz from
Channel managerso availability, rates and reservations stay in sync.
Step-by-step instructions
Booking.com
Go to join.booking.com and click
List your property.Enter your email and set a password.
Add property details: type (Hotel, Apartment, B&B), name, address, number of rooms and capacity, bed types.
Set your nightly prices, cancellation policies, and availability calendar.
Upload photos and write the listing description.
Choose the payment model (online via Booking.com or at property) and enter your bank details.
Complete property verification — Booking.com may send a code by post and request an ID document.
Submit the listing for review. Typical timing: 24–48 hours in the fastest case; 7–10 days when address verification by post is required.
⚠️ Warning
Do not advertise the listing elsewhere (social media, your website) before Booking.com marks it as live — early bookings taken outside the platform may not be honoured.
Airbnb
Go to airbnb.com and click
Become a Host.Sign up with email, Google, Apple, or Facebook and verify your identity when asked (ID, passport, or driver's licence).
Create the listing: property type (entire home, private room, shared space), exact location, number of rooms, beds and bathrooms, and amenities.
Add at least 10 high-quality photos, write a description, and set your house rules.
Set pricing (manual or Smart Pricing), minimum and maximum stay lengths, and availability.
Choose how guests book —
Instant BookorRequest to Book— pick a cancellation policy, and enter bank details for payouts.Submit for review. Typical timing: 30 minutes to 24 hours when verification is light; up to a week when Airbnb needs extra checks.

Check your local short-term-rental regulations before publishing. Airbnb may require a registration number or permit depending on your city.
Expedia
Go to Expedia Group Partner Central and click
List Your Property.Choose the property type (Hotel or Resort, Vacation Rental, or other) and create the account with your email.
Enter property name, address, unit count, category, and amenities.
Upload photos and write a detailed description and house rules.
Set pricing (manual or dynamic), base rates and extras, and availability.
Choose a payment model —
Expedia Virtual Card (EVC)or guest pays on arrival — and enter payout bank details. Pick a cancellation policy.Upload verification documents if Expedia requests them (business registration, ownership document, photo ID).
Submit. Typical timing: 48 hours in the fastest case; 5–10 days with address/ownership verification; longer if licensing documents are required.

Expedia Group listings also appear on Hotels.com, Orbitz, and Travelocity. Submit clear, legible documents — blurry scans delay approval.
