What does it look like? 🤔👇
Your guide through Booking Engine 2.0 🛎️
1️⃣ Initiating the booking
Starting point: Guests begin by clicking on the date-picker widget embedded on your hotel's website. This action triggers the booking engine to appear, sliding out from the right (desktop) or bottom (mobile). ⏳
Date selection: Guests select their desired check-in and check-out dates directly within the calendar interface. 📆
Guest configuration: Following date selection, guests specify the number of adults and children staying, tailoring the search results to their needs. 👨👩👧👦
2️⃣ Selecting rooms and rates
Room and rate display: Based on the provided dates and guest details, the booking engine displays available rooms and their rates. Each listing includes comprehensive details to inform the guest's choice. 🏨💲
Room selection: Guests choose their preferred room(s) and rate(s), with the option to book multiple rooms under the same rate if needed. 🛏️
3️⃣ Reviewing the booking summary
Summary visibility: A dynamic booking summary is continuously displayed, updating in real-time as guests make their selections. This summary includes details like stay dates, guest numbers, selected rooms, and the total price. 📝
Collapsible feature: Guests can expand or collapse the summary at any point, having full visibility of their booking details without obstructing the booking process. 🔍
4️⃣ Completing the booking details
Extras selection: If applicable, guests choose from available extras, ranging from breakfast options to spa treatments, with the system dynamically adjusting the total price. 🍽️🍹
Guest information: Guests fill in personal information required for the booking, such as contact details and special requests.📞💬
5️⃣ Payment information and confirmation
Payment details: Guests enter their payment information, facilitated through secure payment gateways like AmenitizPay for credit card transactions. 💳
Final Review: A final overview allows guests to review all details before confirming the booking. ✅
Confirmation: Upon confirming their booking, guests receive an instant confirmation message and an email summarising their reservation details. 📬
