How to manage AmenitizPay commissions and invoices

AmenitizPay commission rates for Europe, UK, Mexico, USA, Brazil and SEPA — plus how to find and reconcile your monthly commission invoices.

Overview

AmenitizPay is included in your Amenitiz subscription — no setup or monthly fees. You pay a per-transaction commission on guest payments processed through AmenitizPay (online payments, payment terminals, and SEPA transfers). This article covers the current commission rates and how to find and reconcile your monthly commission invoices.

Before you start

  • Commissions apply only to payments from travellers to the owner and to captured authorisations.

  • No commission is applied on refunds, or on authorisations that are not captured.

  • If no VAT number is added to your account, VAT is applied to the commissions.

Where to find your commission invoices

Find your commission invoices in SettingsBilling information. They are generated monthly and cover all transactions processed via AmenitizPay during the previous month.

📌 Note

  • Invoices are only generated when there are commissionable payments. No bookings via AmenitizPay this month? No invoice will be issued.

  • The tax ID (NIF) on the commission invoice corresponds to the company associated with your Amenitiz account.

Reconcile a commission invoice with your reservations

Each invoice line is linked to a payment ID, which you can match to a specific reservation:

  1. Log in to your Amenitiz admin.

  2. Go to AmenitizPayPayments.

  3. Click Export in the top-right corner of the page.

  4. Select the desired month and confirm the export.

  5. Open the downloaded CSV and locate the Issued Payments tab.

  6. Each row shows the payment amount, commission, and payment ID — use these to match the payment IDs with the corresponding reservations.

FAQs

Why didn't I receive a commission invoice this month?

If no bookings were processed via AmenitizPay during the month, no commission invoice is issued. Invoices are only generated when there are commissionable payments.

How can I verify which reservations correspond to the commissions on my invoice?

Export the monthly CSV from AmenitizPayPaymentsExport. The Issued Payments tab in the file shows payment amount, commission, and payment ID per row — match the payment IDs to your reservations.

Which tax ID appears on the commission invoice?

The tax ID (NIF) of the company associated with your Amenitiz account. Keep your account details up to date to avoid discrepancies.

Are there any setup or monthly fees for AmenitizPay?

No. AmenitizPay is included in your Amenitiz subscription with no setup or monthly fees — only the per-transaction commissions listed above.

Are commissions charged on refunds or released authorisations?

No. Commissions apply only to payments captured on the guest's card. Refunds and uncaptured authorisations are commission-free.

Why is VAT applied to my commissions?

If you haven't added a VAT number to your account settings, VAT is applied to your commissions. Add your VAT number in your account settings to update this.
