How to disconnect your OTA connection with Amenitiz

How to cleanly disconnect an OTA (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.) from Amenitiz — what support handles, what you need to do on the OTA extranet, and how to handle multiple listings, active reservations, and subscription cancellations.

Overview

If you want to disconnect an OTA (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.) from Amenitiz, the disconnection has to be done at two levels: in Amenitiz (handled by support) and directly on the OTA's extranet. This article walks through both sides so the disconnection is fully clean and no sync errors are left behind.

Before you start

  • Make sure there are no active reservations tied to the listings you're about to disconnect — disconnecting won't cancel them, but it makes the cleanup messier.

  • The disconnection must be done on both sides: Amenitiz handles its side, but you need to disconnect on the OTA's extranet yourself.

  • If you have multiple listings on the same OTA, you'll need to disconnect each one individually on the OTA's side.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Contact [email protected]. Our team will handle the disconnection on the Amenitiz side.

  2. Disconnect on Booking.com:

    • Log in to your Booking.com extranet.

    • Click the profile icon (top-right) and go to Channel Manager or Connectivity Provider.

    • Find Amenitiz in the list and click Disconnect. Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm.

    • If you can't find Amenitiz through that path, go to AccountProfessional SettingsPartner Software CenterConnections to Channel Managers/Software Partners, find Amenitiz and disconnect there instead.

    • If you manage multiple properties, repeat for each listing — Booking.com disconnections are done one listing at a time.

  3. Disconnect on Airbnb:

    • Log in to your Airbnb account.

    • Go to AccountPrivacyConnected services (the exact wording can vary — also look for Linked apps or Services).

    • Find Amenitiz and click Remove access (or Disconnect / Disable).

    • Verify Amenitiz no longer appears as a connected service.

⚠️ Warning

Disconnecting an OTA won't cancel any existing or future bookings. Those have to be managed separately on each platform.

FAQs

What happens if I cancel my Amenitiz subscription?

All OTA connections are automatically disconnected when your Amenitiz subscription ends. The process is non-destructive — your configurations are saved, so if you resubscribe later you can reactivate the connections without rebuilding everything.

I have multiple Booking.com properties — do I need to disconnect each one?

Yes. Booking.com disconnections are done at the listing level, so you'll need to repeat the disconnect flow for each property in your Booking.com extranet.

My Amenitiz subscription has already ended — how do I disconnect from the OTAs?

Once your subscription has ended, Amenitiz no longer manages the disconnection for you. You'll need to disconnect manually on each OTA's extranet using the steps above.

What do I do about reservations that are still active when I disconnect?

Disconnecting doesn't cancel them. Handle existing and future bookings directly on each OTA platform — refund, reschedule, or honour them as normal.
