Overview
When a guest completes their Chekin online check-in, their details are saved on the client record on the booking automatically. You do not need to do anything for the data to appear.
If the data did not arrive (for example, the guest filled the form just before you opened the booking), you can pull it manually with the Fetch Chekin info button.
How automatic sync works
As soon as the guest submits their Chekin form, Amenitiz receives the data and updates the client record on the booking. There is no manual step on your side.
📌 Note — Only the lead guest's details are synced to the client record. Information from additional guests on the reservation stays in Chekin. To see additional guests, open the reservation in the Chekin Portal from your sidebar.
Pull data manually with Fetch Chekin info
Use this when the automatic sync has not arrived yet, or after a name correction.
Before you start
Chekin must be activated and linked to your Amenitiz account.
The guest must have completed the Chekin online check-in form. If they have not, the fetch returns an error.
Fetch Chekin info is desktop-only.

⚠️ Warning — Blank fields in Chekin do not overwrite existing data in Amenitiz. If a field was already filled in manually, it stays as it is.
Important — If the lead guest's name in Chekin differs from the name on the booking, a new client (a "stayer") is created and linked to the room instead of updating the existing client. Both records are kept.
What is not imported
The following fields are collected by Chekin for online check-in or police reporting but are not synced to Amenitiz:
Date of birth
Gender
Place of birth
Arrival and departure dates (already on the booking)
Passport or ID document photos and scans
Check-in signature

The guest has not completed the online check-in form yet. Contact the guest, ask them to complete it, then try again. They can also use the link in the automated check-in email.

Only fields the guest filled in Chekin are updated. If a Chekin field is empty, your existing value in Amenitiz is kept.
