Your Amenitiz website is built from blocks — sections you can add, reorder, and customize. Examples: a text section, an image gallery, a contact form, a map, testimonials, a room grid. There are around 40 block types available depending on the page.
When you add a new block, it lands at the bottom of the page with placeholder content in every language your website supports. You then edit the content and drag the block to its final position.
Before you start
Some block types are page-specific. For example, the availability planning block only appears on room pages; the blog index only on blog pages.
Changes are live immediately — there's no draft or "publish" step per block.
Some blocks (cover, header, footer) are created automatically with the page and shouldn't be duplicated.
Step-by-step guide
1. Open the website editor
In the admin sidebar, click Website, then Website in the submenu. At the top right, click Customize.
2. Open the page
You land on the home page by default. Click Pages in the top horizontal bar to switch to a different page, then click the name of the page where you want to add the block.
3. Click Add an element
In the left sidebar that shows the page's blocks, click Add an element. A panel opens showing all the block types available for that page.
4. Pick a block type
Click the block you want. The new block lands at the bottom of the page with placeholder content in every language. Drag it up or down in the sidebar to move it to its final position, then click it to edit the content.
Important rules
New blocks land at the bottom. Drag them up in the sidebar to reorder.
New blocks come pre-seeded with placeholder text in every language your website supports. Replace it before going live.
Block types are page-specific. A booking-engine widget won't appear in the panel on your About page, and a blog block won't appear on a room page — that's intentional.
Don't duplicate the cover, header or footer. They're created with the page and only one of each should exist.
Changes go live immediately. If you don't see the new block on your website, refresh your browser with Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).

What block types are available?
Around 40 in total — including text blocks, image galleries, sliders, mosaics, video, maps, contact forms, testimonials, logo lists, pricing tables, amenities, booking-engine widgets, blog blocks, and custom HTML/iframe blocks. The exact list shown depends on which page you're editing.
Why don't I see all blocks on every page?
Why don't I see all blocks on every page?
Block types are filtered to match the page's purpose. Room-specific blocks only appear on room pages, blog-specific blocks only on blog pages, etc. If a block you need isn't there, you may need to create a different type of page first.
The new block has placeholder text — is that normal?
The new block has placeholder text — is that normal?
Yes. New blocks come with placeholder content in every language your site supports so you can see what the block will look like immediately. Click the block to open its editor and replace the placeholder with your own content, in each language tab.
I added a block but I don't see it on my website. Why?
I added a block but I don't see it on my website. Why?
Most likely your browser is showing a cached version. Refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If the block still doesn't appear, open the page in the editor and confirm the block is in the sidebar — if it's there, it's published.
How do I remove a block I added by mistake?
How do I remove a block I added by mistake?
In the sidebar with the page's blocks, click the three dots next to the block you want to remove and choose Delete. There's no undo, so save a copy of the content first if you might need it again.
