Overview
Hide a block to temporarily remove it from your live website while keeping it in the editor, or delete it permanently when you no longer need it.
You can use it to:
Take a seasonal section offline without losing it
Preview the page without a specific block
Remove old content you no longer need
Hidden blocks keep their position on the page — unhide and they reappear in the same spot.
Before you start
You need admin access to the website editor.
The header, footer, blog header, cover and booking window blocks are fixed parts of every page and cannot be deleted.
Deleting is permanent. Hide the block if you might want it back later.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the website editor
In the sidebar, go to
Website→Website.Click
Customizein the top right.Click
Pagesin the top bar and select the page that contains the block.
Hide a block
In the blocks sidebar, find the block you want to hide.
Click the eye icon on the right of the block name. The block is hidden from your live website.
Click the eye icon again to make the block visible.
Delete a block
In the blocks sidebar, find the block you want to delete.
Click the bin icon on the right of the block name.
Confirm the deletion in the dialog. The block is removed permanently.
Important rules
⚠️ Warning — Deletion is permanent. There is no undo. If you might want the block back, hide it instead.
📌 Note — The header, footer, blog header, cover and booking window blocks cannot be deleted. The delete option is not available on those blocks.
