Overview
Each block in the Amenitiz website builder comes with a few visual presets — different layouts and styles you can swap between to match the look you want, without rebuilding the block from scratch. This article shows how to switch a block to a different preset.
Other block-level customisations live in their own articles: how to add a button to a block, how to add or change the photo of a block, and how to change the text font.
Before you start
You need the Can edit the website permission to open the website builder. If the Customize button doesn't appear, ask your Account Owner.
Different block types offer different presets. The Model dropdown is per-block — swapping presets on one block doesn't affect any others.
Switching to a new preset keeps your existing content (titles, text, images) — only the layout/styling changes.

FAQs
I switched the Model and my content disappeared — did I lose it?
I switched the Model and my content disappeared — did I lose it?
No. Switching the Model only changes the layout — your titles, text, images and other settings stay attached to the block. If a piece of content isn't visible in the new preset, it's because the preset doesn't include that slot (e.g. a layout without a subtitle field). Switch back to the original preset and the content reappears.
The Model dropdown isn't showing any options on a block — why?
The Model dropdown isn't showing any options on a block — why?
Some blocks ship with a single design and don't offer alternatives. The Model dropdown only appears on blocks that have multiple presets defined. If you need a different look, swap the block for a different type — see how to add a block to your website.
Can I apply the same Model to every block of the same type?
Can I apply the same Model to every block of the same type?
No — the Model is set per block. You'll need to open each block individually and pick the same preset if you want a consistent look across all instances.
Can I create my own custom Model?
Can I create my own custom Model?
Not from the builder. The available Models are the ones designed into Amenitiz; you pick from the list rather than designing a new layout. For deeper style customisation, work with the global Theme typography and the per-block font override — see how to change the text font.
