Overview
Extras allow you to add additional services or fees to a booking, such as cleaning fees, meals, or other paid services. When you add an extra, it is recorded as a charge and grouped into a bill, which then affects the total amount due on the booking.
You can add extras from both the desktop platform and the mobile app. Adding an extra does not require you to take payment immediately. You can choose to collect payment later from the Payments tab.
Before you start
The extra must already be created in your Amenitiz account
You must have access to the reservation you want to update
Step-by-step instructions
1. Open the reservation
You can add extras from either the desktop platform or the mobile app.
From the mobile app:
Log in to the Amenitiz mobile app.
Open the reservation from the
ActivityorCalendartab.
From the desktop platform:
Go to
ReservationsorPlanning.Open the booking and click
View booking details.
2. Add an extra
The Add an extra modal opens. Fill in the fields:
Extra — Type or select the extra to add. Only extras already created in your account can be selected.
Apply on — Choose when the extra appears:
Every day— Adds it to every day of the stayEvery morning— Mornings only (useful for breakfast)Every evening— Evenings onlyCustom dates— Pick specific dates from the stay
Select dates — If you chose
Custom dates, click the dates that apply.Adults and Price / adult — The number of adults the extra applies to per room, and the price charged per adult.
Children and Price / child — The number of children the extra applies to per room, and the price charged per child. Leave at 0 if children aren't charged.
The summary at the bottom of the modal shows exactly which charges will be created and the total before you confirm.
Click Add to apply. One charge is created for every room and date in your selection — all in a single action. The extras are recorded as charges and grouped into the relevant bill.
💡 Tip: For group bookings, this saves significant time. Adding breakfast across 6 rooms over 4 nights creates 24 charges in one click, instead of one at a time.
3. Understand how extras affect bills and payments
When an extra is added:
It increases the total amount of the bill
If the bill was already fully paid, it may reopen with a new amount due
The booking's payment status updates automatically
At this stage, no payment is required. You are only updating the charges.

Yes. Use Apply on to choose Every day, Every morning, or Every evening for a recurring charge across the stay. Use Custom dates to pick specific days.

Use the separate Adults and Children counters, with their Price / adult and Price / child fields. If you set a price for both, the system creates one charge line for adult pricing and a separate line for child pricing. Leave child price at 0 if children aren't charged.

Past dates are automatically remapped to today's date for billing. The original date is preserved on the charge name for your records.
