Overview
SmartPricing (Smartness) is a Dynamic Pricing tool that automatically calculates optimised rates based on market demand, competitor pricing and occupancy data. Once connected, Amenitiz syncs your room types, availability and reservation history with SmartPricing. Prices are calculated on the SmartPricing side and sent back automatically to Amenitiz.
The activation process involves several steps because SmartPricing reviews and approves your property data before generating prices. Each step requires you to wait for a confirmation email from Smart Pricing before continuing in Amenitiz.
You can activate or deactivate the integration at any time from the Marketplace.
Before you start
Before activating the integration, make sure that you have an active SmartPricing (Smartness) account. If you do not yet have an account, you must create one directly on the SmartPricing website before continuing.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Find SmartPricing in the Marketplace
Log in to your Amenitiz platform.
Go to
Marketplace.Scroll down to Discover all apps.
Find and select Smartness (SmartPricing).
Click
Activate.
2. Request account activation
Confirm the username or email address associated with your SmartPricing account.
Click
Request Activation.
Smart Pricing will now review your account. You will receive an Account Activated email from SmartPricing when this step is complete.
📌 Note: This step is handled on the SmartPricing side and may take some time. You will need to wait for their confirmation email before continuing.
3. Send your room mapping
After receiving the Account Activated email from SmartPricing, return to the Marketplace.
Click
Account Activated, Send Rooms.
Amenitiz will send your room types to SmartPricing. SmartPricing will review and approve them. You will receive a Rooms Approved email when this step is complete.
4. Send historical data
After receiving the Rooms Approved email from SmartPricing, return to the Marketplace.
Click
Rooms Approved, Send Historical Data.
Amenitiz will send your availability and reservation history to SmartPricing. SmartPricing will review this data. You will receive a Data Approved email when this step is complete.
5. Request price calculation
After receiving the Data Approved email from SmartPricing, return to the Marketplace.
Click
Data Approved, Calculate Prices.
SmartPricing will now calculate optimised prices for your property. You will receive a Pricing Calculated email when prices are ready.
6. Confirm prices are ready
After receiving the Pricing Calculated email from SmartPricing, return to the Marketplace.
Click
Prices Ready.
The integration is now fully active. Prices will flow automatically from SmartPricing to Amenitiz.
⚠️ Important: Once the integration is active, SmartPricing becomes the source of truth for your pricing. If you manually edit prices in Amenitiz, those changes may be overwritten by Smart Pricing.
