AmenitizBoost is our built-in digital marketing service for hotels. We run Google and Microsoft ad campaigns for your property, and you pay a 12% commission only on the direct bookings we generate. No upfront costs, no technical setup, no long-term commitment — just more visibility and more direct bookings.
This article covers what AmenitizBoost is, how it works, the ads we run, pricing, how to activate or deactivate it, and answers to the most common questions.
What is AmenitizBoost?
AmenitizBoost is a fully managed digital marketing solution, integrated directly into the Amenitiz platform. Our marketing experts create, run and optimise ad campaigns across Google Search, Google Hotel and Microsoft Ads, with one goal: increase your property's visibility and drive direct bookings to your website.
Three things set it apart from traditional digital advertising:
No upfront investment – You don't pay for ad spend, agency fees or setup. We cover all campaign costs.
Performance-based pricing – You pay a 12% commission only on confirmed bookings our campaigns generate. If we don't generate bookings, you pay nothing.
Fully managed – No marketing expertise required. Our team handles keyword research, ad creation, bidding and daily optimisation.
How it works
Once you activate AmenitizBoost, our team takes over. Here's what we handle for you across the three advertising channels we currently run.
1. Google Search Ads
Text ads shown on Google when travellers search for accommodations in your area (e.g. "hotels in [your city]") or for your hotel's name. We also run brand-term strategies so that OTAs and competitors don't capture bookings intended for you — guests searching for your hotel find you, not the middleman.
2. Google Hotel Ads
Rich listings that show your rates and real-time availability at the top of Google results, in the side panel, and on mobile hotel profiles, where users compare prices across OTAs and your own website. Appearing here helps you win bookings directly and reduce your reliance on commission-heavy platforms.
Tip: To run Google Hotel Ads, you need a Google My Business Profile. If you don't have one yet, follow our guide on setting up a Google My Business Profile.
3. Microsoft Ads
Ads on Bing, Yahoo and partner networks. A smaller but often-overlooked audience that helps diversify your traffic and reduce dependency on a single platform.
What to expect once campaigns are live
More visits to your website – guests clicking your ads land directly on your booking engine.
More enquiries – expect more calls and emails, especially from international guests.
More direct bookings – over time, your dependence on OTAs decreases.
A wider audience – our campaigns reach travellers well beyond your local market.
Note: Results don't happen overnight. Campaigns usually take a couple of months to stabilise as the platforms learn what works best for your property. You can track impressions, clicks, bookings and revenue on your Performance page at any time.
We're also working on expanding AmenitizBoost to additional platforms — you'll be notified as new channels go live.
Pricing: the 12% commission
AmenitizBoost runs on a pure performance model. You pay a 12% commission on confirmed bookings generated by our campaigns — nothing else.
What's included in the 12%
All ad spend across Google Search, Google Hotel and Microsoft Ads
Keyword research, ad creation and daily optimisation
Access to your Performance page and monthly reporting
Our marketing team's expertise and time
How the commission is calculated
Applied to the booking total at the time of booking, including any optional services and VAT
Not applied to extras added by the guest during their stay (e.g. room upgrade at check-in) or to city tax
When you pay, when you don't
✅ You only pay commission on confirmed bookings generated by AmenitizBoost campaigns.
❎ Cancelled bookings are not charged. If a booking is cancelled after commission has been invoiced, a credit note is issued automatically and applied to your next commission invoice.
Invoicing and payment
Commission invoices are generated monthly, but only if you received AmenitizBoost bookings in the previous month. You can find them in Settings > Billing information in your Amenitiz admin.
Payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account each month, based on the invoice amount — no manual payments required.

Frequently asked questions
Why should I have different distribution channels?
Why should I have different distribution channels?
Multiple distribution channels increase your visibility, reach a wider audience, and diversify your revenue. Relying heavily on a single channel (like OTAs) makes your business vulnerable to policy or commission changes. With AmenitizBoost running ads in parallel, you gain more control over your bookings, pricing strategy and guest relationship.
How does AmenitizBoost integrate with my booking system?
How does AmenitizBoost integrate with my booking system?
Integration is automatic. AmenitizBoost is natively connected to your Amenitiz booking engine — as soon as you activate it, campaigns start driving traffic directly to your existing booking flow. No setup, no plugins, no configuration needed on your side.
Where can I see the bookings I'm receiving from AmenitizBoost?
Where can I see the bookings I'm receiving from AmenitizBoost?
You'll get an email when AmenitizBoost generates your first direct booking. After that, you can track all campaign performance in the Performance page inside your Amenitiz account (left-hand menu > AmenitizBoost), including impressions, clicks, bookings, revenue and which channels are active.
Every month, your Amenitiz invoice will list all bookings generated, the revenue, and the commission charged. Cancelled bookings are not charged and won't appear on the invoice.
How long will it take to see results?
How long will it take to see results?
Campaigns typically take a couple of months to stabilise as the platforms' algorithms learn what converts best for your property. During that early phase, metrics (impressions, clicks, bookings, revenue) can fluctuate. You'll have full visibility into progress through the Performance page and your monthly AmenitizBoost report.
I searched for my hotel on Google and didn't find my ad. Why?
I searched for my hotel on Google and didn't find my ad. Why?
Google search results are personalised using machine learning. If you repeatedly search for your own hotel without clicking the ad, Google's algorithm may interpret this as low relevance for your session and stop showing you the ad — even though it's still being shown to genuine potential guests.
This is normal and does not reflect how your campaigns are actually performing. To get an accurate view of visibility and effectiveness, check your Performance page inside Amenitiz, which aggregates impressions, click-through rates and bookings across all real users.
How do I measure return on investment?
How do I measure return on investment?
Because the 12% commission is only charged on bookings AmenitizBoost actually generates, your ROI is direct and easy to measure: compare the commission paid against the revenue from those bookings, and against the commission you would have paid to OTAs for the same bookings. In most cases, AmenitizBoost comes out as the more cost-effective channel.
