Linking your Google Hotel Center and Google Ads accounts

What the Google Hotel Center ↔ Google Ads link is, why it matters, and what we need from you so our team can set it up on your behalf.

Updated yesterday

To show your property across Google's travel ad surfaces, your Google Hotel Center account and your Google Ads account need to be connected. This is a one-time technical link that our team handles for you — you don't have to go into either platform yourself.

This article explains what the link is, why it matters, and what we need from you so we can request it on your behalf.

What is the Hotel Center ↔ Google Ads link?

Google Hotel Center is where your property's inventory, rates, and availability live inside Google. Google Ads is where the campaigns that promote your property actually run.

They are two separate Google products, and by default they don't talk to each other. Linking them is what allows a Google Ads campaign to pull live rates and availability from your Hotel Center feed and use them inside ads.

Without this link, none of the hotel-specific ad formats below are available.

Why the link matters

Once Hotel Center and Google Ads are linked, three things become possible:

  • Google Hotel Ads — rate and availability ads shown on Google Search, Maps, and the Google travel experience.

  • Performance Max for Travel Goals — Google's AI-driven campaign type that automatically places your property across Search, Display, YouTube, Gmail, Maps and Discover.

  • Travel Feeds in Search Ads — dynamic price and availability information inside standard Search ads. According to Google, these feeds deliver on average a 20% higher click-through rate than text-only ads.

Note

The link itself does not start, pay for, or change any campaigns. It simply makes it possible for the two Google products to share data.

What we need from you

To send the link request from our side, we need your Google Ads customer ID.

This is a 10-digit number in the format XXX-XXX-XXXX. You'll find it in the top-right corner of your Google Ads account, next to your email address.

The customer ID is just an identifier — it is not a password, and sharing it does not give anyone access to your account or billing.

Tip

If you don't have a Google Ads account yet, that's fine — you can easily create one here: Create my Google Ads account.

How to send us these details

Email your Google Ads customer ID to [email protected].

A short message like this is enough:

Hi, please proceed with the link between our Google Hotel Center and our Google Ads account. Our Google Ads customer ID is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

What happens next

  1. We confirm receipt within 2 business days and let you know if anything is missing (access levels, account setup, etc.).

  2. We send the link request from Google Hotel Center to your Google Ads account, so you can accept it on your end.

  3. Google activates the link, which can take up to 72 hours on their side.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to share my Google Ads customer ID?

Yes. The customer ID is only an account identifier, like a reference number. It cannot be used on its own to log in, change settings, spend money, or see your billing details.

Will I lose control of my Google Ads account?

No. You remain the owner of your Google Ads account. The link only allows the two products to share inventory and rate data — it doesn't transfer ownership or billing responsibility.

Do I need marketing or technical expertise to do this?

No. Sending us the customer ID is all we need on your side. Our team sends the link request, monitors its activation with Google, and confirms when it's done.

Can the link be removed later?

Yes. The link can be unlinked at any time, either from your side in Google Ads, or on request to us. Unlinking doesn't delete any of your accounts or data — it simply stops the two from sharing information.
