Overview
Connect your property's email to Conversations to read and answer guest emails from Amenitiz. Only emails from guests with a reservation at your property come into Conversations. Other emails, such as supplier messages or newsletters, stay in your email account as usual.
Each guest email appears in the same thread as that guest's reservation and their other messages, so you see the whole conversation in one place and reply from there. Your replies are sent from your own email address.
⚠️ Before you start
Have your email address and password ready. For Gmail, you need an app password, not your usual password: create one in your Google account's security settings first. 2-Step Verification must be on to create an app password.
Step by step
Go to
Conversationsin the sidebar.Click
Inbox settingsat the top of the page.
In the
Emailsection, underChoose your email provider, click your provider:Gmail,Zoho MailorOther (enter manually).
Enter your
Email addressand theSender nameguests will see.Enter your
Username(usually your full email address) andPassword. For Gmail, paste the app password here.If you chose
Other (enter manually), enter the server, port and security details for incoming and outgoing mail. Your email provider or hosting company gives you these.
Click
Connect mailboxand keep the panel open. Checking your email can take up to a minute.
If you are asked to
Choose your Sent folder, select the folder where your sent emails are kept and clickSave folder.
When your email shows Connected, guest emails start arriving in Conversations.

For Gmail, check that you used an app password, not your usual Google password, and that you copied it without spaces. Do not turn off 2-Step Verification on your Google account: Gmail needs it on to create an app password. If you chose Other (enter manually), check the server, port and security details with your email provider.
Can I connect an Outlook or Microsoft 365 email?
Can I connect an Outlook or Microsoft 365 email?
No. Outlook and Microsoft 365 do not allow other apps to sign in with a password, so these emails cannot be connected. Connect a different email instead.

Conversations shows emails from guests who have a reservation at your property, in that reservation's thread. Other emails, such as supplier messages or newsletters, stay in your email account only.

Yes. Replies you send from Conversations go out from your email address, and a copy is saved in the Sent folder of your email.
What happens to past emails if I disconnect my email?

When you disconnect, you choose whether to keep past conversations in Conversations or delete them. Deleting them cannot be undone. Your emails stay in your own email account either way.
