Is your website down? 🛑 Don't worry—we've got you covered. This guide will help you renew your domain or resolve any DNS issues, ensuring your website is back online in no time. Let’s dive in and get your site back up and running!
Step-by-Step Guide
1️⃣ Verify Your Website Status ✅
First things first, let’s check the status of your website:
-
From the Amenitiz dashboard, navigate to Website > Website.
-
Ensure that the status of your website is set to “online”.
2️⃣ Check Primary Domain Settings 📡
As a second step in the admin:
-
Navigate to Website > Domain Name.
-
Ensure the correct domain is added and selected as the primary domain instead of the Amenitiz link.
3️⃣ Check Your Domain Status 🔍
a. Log in to your domain manager account
- Verify the expiration date of your domain and renew it if necessary.
b. Verify DNS Settings
-
Check DNS Records: Head to the DNS settings section in your domain manager. Make sure all necessary records (A, CNAME, MX, etc.) are correct and pointing to the right servers.
-
Take a screenshot first: If something does not work, this allows you to revert to the previous state easily.
-
Update DNS Records: If you find any records that are missing or incorrect, update them. Your domain should point to your-hotel.amenitiz.io and have a single type A record pointing to 35.180.238.216.
-
Propagation Time: After updating DNS records, note that it may take some time for changes to propagate across the internet, usually up to 48 hours.

-
Renew SSL Certificate: If your SSL certificate is expired or about to expire, renew it.
-
Install SSL Certificate: Follow the instructions provided by your hosting provider to install the renewed SSL certificate.
-
Verify SSL Configuration: Use online tools like SSL Checker to ensure that your SSL certificate is properly installed and configured.
💡 Additional tips and support : Enable auto-renewal for your domain to avoid unexpected expirations and use website monitoring tools to receive alerts if your site goes down. This proactive approach will help you address any issues promptly.
