Overview
This article explains how to connect your Amenitiz account with Vrbo/Abritel. Once connected, availability and rates sync automatically from Amenitiz to Vrbo, and new Vrbo bookings flow into your Amenitiz calendar. The connection is set up by Amenitiz support after you send them the required information.
Before you start
Confirm your property meets all of the following — Amenitiz support cannot complete the connection if any of these are missing:
Your listing is for an entire property (not just a room).
You have a valid VAT number. In France, your SIREN number works. In Spain, your Número de registro de la empresa. In Italy, your Numero di registrazione dell'azienda.
Your property is in a region where AmenitizPay is supported. Properties in Morocco and Mexico can't connect via XML because AmenitizPay isn't available there.
If you don't meet these requirements, you can still use the iCal method for basic availability synchronisation — see the FAQ below.
What to know about the Vrbo connection
Before requesting the connection, make sure you understand and accept the following:
100% of the payment is collected at the time of booking via AmenitizPay. If you already use non-refundable sales terms, link them to your Vrbo rate plan. Otherwise, go to
AmenitizPay→Settingsand update your payment calendar.Extras (e.g. cleaning fees) must be included in the rate. They can't be added separately on Vrbo.
Only one rate plan can be connected per property.
Per-person pricing isn't supported. Prices apply per listing, not per guest.
Your Vrbo listing title must be at least 20 characters and the description at least 400 characters.
Vrbo charges a 15% commission, deducted from your credit card on the 2nd of each month for completed stays. Factor this into your pricing.
Step-by-step instructions
Gather the required information. Have the following ready before you contact support:

House rules. Pet policy, smoking policy, children policy, plus any specific rules (quiet hours, no shoes indoors, etc.).
Cancellation policy. Pick one of the standard Vrbo options:
Strict — 100% refund if cancelled 60+ days before arrival.

Moderate — 100% refund 30+ days before, 50% refund 14+ days before.

Send the connection request to Amenitiz support. Email [email protected] with the subject
Request to connect Amenitiz with Vrbo. Include everything from the previous step.Wait for confirmation. Support will review the information, complete the connection, and confirm once everything is set up.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues after the connection is set up, work through the following checks:
Confirm your Vrbo account onboarding is complete. An incomplete activation on the Vrbo side causes sync issues such as missing or incorrect prices.
Confirm Single Sign-On (SSO) onboarding is complete. The SSO process has to be finalised for your listings to sync rates and availability between Amenitiz and Vrbo.
Submit your Amenitiz Advertiser ID and Vrbo account details. During Vrbo onboarding, provide your Amenitiz Advertiser ID, company information, and Vrbo account details (language, currency, username/email).
Keep your linked rate plans active. If the Vrbo rate plan is closed in Amenitiz, availability won't push through.
