Step-by-Step Guide
1. Check your Amenitiz setup
Before requesting the connection, make sure your Amenitiz account is correctly configured:
✅ Ensure listings match – The number of rooms and units in Expedia must exactly match what you have listed on Amenitiz. Room names and structures should be identical.
✅ Verify rate plans – In Booking Engine > pricing, check that:
Your OTA rate plans are active.
Each rate is linked to the correct rooms.
The rate you want to connect exists on both Amenitiz and Expedia.
The number of active rates in Expedia for each room matches the number of rates in Amenitiz for the connection to work properly.
Prepare Rate Plans on Expedia: Before connecting to Amenitiz, ensure all intended rate plans (e.g., Standard, Non-refundable) are already created and active in Expedia. Remove unnecessary or outdated rate plans to avoid confusion during the mapping process.
👉 Example If you have a Standard Rate in Expedia, it will be connected to your Expedia/OTA Rate in Amenitiz. Likewise, if you have a Non-Refundable Rate in Expedia, it will be linked to your Non-Refundable Expedia/OTA Rate in Amenitiz. Click here to learn more about OTA rates. For instance, create a dedicated rate plan in Amenitiz like "Expedia Non-refundable" to map precisely with its equivalent on Expedia.
✅ Prepare your room mapping – Write down which rooms in Amenitiz correspond to which rooms in Expedia.
Use specific names and IDs for consistency. To streamline the process, designate clear labels like "Single Room - Amenitiz" matched to "Single Room - Expedia" during setup.
2. Set Amenitiz as your connectivity provider on Expedia
To enable syncing between the two platforms, you need to select Amenitiz as your connectivity provider in Expedia.
Log into your Expedia Extranet (Partner Central).
Navigate to Rooms and Rates Connectivity Settings.
Select Amenitiz as your provider.
Save the changes and wait for Expedia to confirm the update.
3. Contact Amenitiz Support to Finalise the Connection
Once you've completed the steps above, send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Request to Connect Amenitiz with Expedia".
📌 Include the following in your email:
Your Amenitiz account name
Your Expedia Property ID
Your room mapping details (which Amenitiz room links to which Expedia room, including IDs)
The rate plans you want to link

4. Enabling Rate Plans in Amenitiz
Once your Amenitiz-Expedia connection is finalized, follow these steps to ensure your rate plans are active:
Navigate to Planning > Inventory in Amenitiz.
Use the Bulk Update feature for quick adjustments.
Select the rooms and rate plans (e.g., Standard, Non-refundable) you wish to enable for bookings.
Specify a date range for availability.
Under 'Select an action to perform,' choose Open Rate (or Close Rate, if required).
Confirm your changes and Amenitiz will synchronize with Expedia automatically.
