Overview
Multi-Currency is designed for hoteliers who use different currencies on OTAs — for example, USD on Booking.com — but want to keep their local currency on their own website and booking engine. To create a channel manager connection between an OTA and Amenitiz, the currency must be the same on both sides. This article explains how to keep Amenitiz in your local currency while connecting to OTAs that run on a different currency.
Before you start
The initial currency setting is done by your onboarder during training.
Once your Amenitiz account is connected to the OTAs, you can no longer change the primary currency. Make sure you've picked the right one before requesting the channel manager connection.
If you need to change your Booking Engine currency, contact Amenitiz support — it can't be changed from Regional Settings yourself.
Step-by-step instructions
Go to
Settings→Regional Settings.Your Booking Engine currency is automatically set to your local currency. For the channel manager side:

What to expect once multi-currency is set up
You'll see reservations in your primary currency, with the price paid by the guest on the OTA shown in the booking details.
Payment works as usual: Booking.com will transfer your money to your bank account, or you'll charge the guest's card / VCC.
Reports in Amenitiz stay in the primary currency.
