Overview
The Housekeeping planning in Amenitiz centralises room cleaning across your property: track room statuses, create housekeeper accounts, assign rooms to staff for one day or longer, leave comments for occupied rooms, and send or print the daily report. The mobile app gives each housekeeper access to only the rooms assigned to them.
Before you start
Access the Housekeeping planning at
Planning→Housekeeping.To create housekeeper accounts you need admin permissions on your Amenitiz account.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Change a room's cleaning status
In
Planning→Housekeeping, tick one or several accommodations.Select the new status.
Click
Confirmto save the change.
📌 Status vocabulary
Deep clean — the guest has left and the room needs a full clean. A check-out registered for today automatically sets the room to Deep clean.
Tidy up — the guest is still in the room (stay-over). The room needs to be inspected and tidied.
Clean — set this once the room has been cleaned (new arrival or stay-over).
2. Create housekeeper accounts
Go to
Settings→Team.Click
Add a member to the team.Enter the housekeeper's first name, last name, and email address.
Set the user access level to Housekeeper.
Click
Add user.
3. Assign rooms to housekeepers
In the Housekeeping section, you can assign a room or property for:
One day.
A specific date range.
Permanently.
Find the Assigned to column on the room's row.
Click
Assign staff.Select the housekeeper and the timeframe.
Click
Assign.
4. Communicate with housekeeping staff
From the Housekeeping planning you can consult and add comments directly on occupied rooms — useful for flagging guest requests, maintenance issues, or late check-outs.
5. Send or print the housekeeping report
Email the report — click
Email reportand choose the recipient email. The report is sent as an Excel file.Download as PDF — click
Print PDFto download or print the report.
From the Amenitiz mobile app
Housekeepers log in to the mobile app and tap the Housekeeping tab. They can:
Filter by status or by housekeeper.
See only the rooms assigned to them.
Update the status of those rooms directly from their phone.

The email is sent only when there's activity on a given day (check-in, check-out, or ongoing reservation). On quiet days, no email is sent. For account owners, this email cannot be disabled. For other team members, the account owner can adjust permissions in the Admin settings to limit access to housekeeping information.
Can one housekeeper see another housekeeper's rooms?

No. Each housekeeper account only sees the rooms assigned to them — on the web and in the mobile app.
Can I assign the same room to more than one housekeeper?

Assignments are per room per timeframe — reassigning a room to a new housekeeper for the same period replaces the previous assignment.

Check the timeframe of the assignment (one day, range, or permanent) and confirm the housekeeper has logged in with the right account. If the assignment looks correct, ask the housekeeper to fully log out and back in to refresh.
