Overview
Accommodation photos are the images tied to a specific room or unit — they show up on your Booking Engine room cards, on the room's detail page on your Amenitiz website, and (depending on the channel) on some OTAs you're connected to. This article covers how to add new photos and replace existing ones.
Not the same thing as photos inside a website block (a single image, a gallery, a slider) — for those, see how to add or change the photo of a block of the website or how to add a photo to the image gallery.
Before you start
There are two entry points to the same accommodation photos: edit them via the room editor (Property → Accomodations → Edit room) or via the Website pictures manager (Website → Pictures → Pictures of your rooms). Pick whichever is closer to what you're doing.
High-resolution landscape photos work best — they fill the Booking Engine cards and detail pages cleanly. Aim for at least 1200 px wide and a 16:9 or 3:2 ratio.
The first photo in the list is the cover photo for the room. Reorder photos to control which one shows first.
If you're connected to OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb…), photos managed in Amenitiz don't push automatically to them. Each OTA keeps its own photo library — update them in each OTA's extranet separately.

FAQs
What size and format should the photos be?
What size and format should the photos be?
JPG or PNG, ideally at least 1200 px wide and around 16:9 or 3:2 aspect ratio (landscape). Larger is fine — Amenitiz resizes for display. Vertical/portrait photos work but get cropped on Booking Engine card thumbnails.
Can I reorder the photos?
Can I reorder the photos?
Yes. Drag and drop photos within the Pictures section to change their order. The first photo is the cover — it's what guests see on the Booking Engine room card and at the top of the room's detail page.
Do these photos sync to my OTAs (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.)?
Do these photos sync to my OTAs (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.)?
No. Each OTA maintains its own photo library — they don't auto-sync with Amenitiz. Manage OTA photos in each OTA's extranet (Booking.com Extranet, Airbnb host dashboard, etc.). The photos you upload in Amenitiz only show on your direct Amenitiz website and Booking Engine.
I uploaded a new photo but it's not showing on the Booking Engine — why?
I uploaded a new photo but it's not showing on the Booking Engine — why?
Most likely cache. Hard-refresh the Booking Engine page (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R) and the new photo should appear. If it still doesn't, check that you clicked Save at the bottom of the room editor — uploads alone don't persist until you save.
How do I delete a photo?
How do I delete a photo?
In the Pictures section of the room editor (or the equivalent page in Website → Pictures), hover over the photo and click the delete icon. Then save the changes. The photo is removed from this accommodation; if the same file was used elsewhere in your media library, those copies stay.
