How to Cancel a Reservation in Amenitiz

Sometimes things don’t go as planned, and that’s totally fine! If you need to cancel a reservation, we’ve got you covered. Let’s walk through it together!

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open Your Reservations

    Navigate to the Reservations section from the menu or through Planning < Calendar.

  2. Find the Reservation

    Click on the reservation to open its details.

  3. Cancel the Booking

    Hit the three little dots and choose “Cancel the booking.”

⚠️ Warning

Once cancelled, it’s final—no changes can be made. Also, no refund will be processed automatically. You’ll need to handle that manually! Just follow the steps shown in this article.

  1. Log into the app and find the booking under Calendar.

  2. Tap “Cancel the booking,” and you're done!

📌 Note

You should not cancel a reservation directly in the OTA.
If the reservation was made through an OTA (like Booking.com or Expedia), your guest needs to cancel it directly from his OTA account. This is the only way to cancel the reservation in both OTA and Amenitiz automatically.
Cancelling an OTA reservation in Amenitiz won't automatically update the OTA, and the booking will still appear there.

Cancelling a reservation is quick and painless, but don't forget: you'll need to process refunds manually if required. It's always a good idea to double-check everything before confirming the cancellation—better safe than sorry!
