How to change price and availability for a specific day

You can update the price and availability of your rooms for a specific date directly from the Inventory or the Calendar — whichever view fits your daily workflow best.

This lets you make quick, one-day changes without switching pages.


Change price or availability from the Inventory

  1. Go to Planning → Inventory in your Amenitiz administrator area.

  2. Use the date selector at the top to choose the period you want to view. The table will display 30 days from that date.

  3. In the table, you’ll see different rows such as Availability and Price for each room category.

  4. Click the box for the specific date you want to update.

    • To change the price, enter the new amount you want to charge for that day.

    • To change the availability, enter how many rooms in that category you want to make available for that date.

  5. Your changes will be saved automatically, and a green “Saved successfully” message will appear.

Example: If you usually sell 3 Deluxe Rooms but one will be under maintenance on the 10th, simply change the availability from 3 to 2 for that date.
Or, if there’s an event in town and you expect more demand, you can increase the price for that day directly from here.

Tip: Use Bulk Update to apply the same change to multiple dates at once.

Notes on rate plans

  • Changes apply to the rate plan selected in the dropdown menu.

  • If other rate plans are derived from the one you changed, they’ll automatically update too.

  • Prices can’t be edited directly on derived rate plans.


Change price or availability directly from the Calendar

You can now make quick, day-by-day updates right from the Calendar — ideal for reopening rooms after a cancellation or adjusting rates on the fly.

  1. Go to Planning → Calendar.

  2. Click on the specific date you want to modify.

  3. In the menu that appears, select Edit availability and price.

  4. Update the price or availability for that date:

    • Changing price will affect the rate for that day.

    • Changing availability will adjust how many rooms of that category are open to sell for that specific date.

  5. Confirm your update — the change will be saved instantly, without switching to Inventory.

Example:
A guest cancels for tomorrow? You can reopen the room right from the Calendar by increasing availability for that date.
Or, if the weekend is filling fast, raise the Saturday price directly from the same view.


Change price or availability from the mobile app

You can also make quick price changes from the Amenitiz mobile app:

  1. Open the app and go to Inventory.

  2. Tap the date you want to edit.

  3. Select the room category and change the price or availability.

  4. Changes are saved automatically.
