How to set up multiple booking engines on your account

Set up more than one booking engine, each with its own link and its own selection of rooms, and point website buttons at a specific booking engine.

Overview

Your account can run more than one booking engine. You keep your main booking engine as it is, and you can add another booking engine whenever you need one, each with its own link and its own selection of rooms. This is useful if you manage more than one location, or want a booking page that shows only some of your rooms.

Before you start

  • You manage your booking engines from Booking Engine settings, on the Booking engines tab.

  • Your main booking engine stays public and keeps selling every online room. It can't be renamed, deleted or curated. Only additional booking engines have their own link and room selection.

  • Decide which rooms each additional booking engine should sell before you start.

Step by step

  1. Go to Booking Engine settings and open the Booking engines tab.

  2. Click New booking engine.

  3. Enter a Name for the booking engine. The name sets its link — guests will book at the address shown under the name.

  4. Under Rooms shown on this page, pick the rooms this booking engine should sell. You can choose Select all room types or pick them individually.

  5. Click Create booking engine.

  6. Use Copy link to share the booking engine's link. To change its rooms later, open the booking engine and click Manage rooms.

📌 Note

Changing a booking engine's name changes its link. Any link you have already shared, or set on a website button, will stop working until you update it.

FAQs

Which booking engine is my default, and why can't I rename, delete or curate it?

Your main booking engine is your default, shown with a Default label. It stays public and sells every online room, and it can't be renamed, deleted or curated. Only additional booking engines have their own name, link and room selection.

A room isn't showing on one of my booking engines.

An additional booking engine only sells the rooms you picked for it. A room you don't pick simply isn't sold on that booking engine — it stays available on your other booking engines. To add it, open that booking engine, click Manage rooms, and select the room.

Can the same room be sold on more than one booking engine?

Yes. You pick the rooms per booking engine, so the same room can be sold on several booking engines, or kept to just one.

How do I point a website button at a specific booking engine?

In the website builder, open a booking button's settings and choose which booking engine it opens. You can re-point an existing button the same way.

What happens if I rename a booking engine?

Changing the name changes the link. Any link you have already shared will stop working, so update your shared links and website buttons after renaming.

What happens if I delete an additional booking engine?

Its link stops working straight away. Your rooms stay on your other booking engines.
