How to start your Ami free trial

Try Ami, the AI assistant that replies to your guests, free for 14 days with no card: where to find the trial button, how to set Ami up, and what happens when the trial ends.

Overview

Ami is your AI assistant in Conversations. It reads each guest message and writes a reply in the guest's language, using your property details and what you tell it about your property.

You can try Ami free for 14 days. You don't need a card, and the trial starts as soon as you click. When the 14 days are over, Ami switches off unless you keep it.

Before you start

Start the trial from a computer. The Try Ami for free button doesn't appear in the mobile view.

Step by step

  1. Go to Messaging → Conversations.

  2. Click Try Ami for free at the top of the page. You'll also find it at the top of Inbox settings.

  3. Click Start 14 days free.

  4. Check the property details Ami will use: address, phone, email, rooms, check-in and check-out. Click Edit to correct anything, then click Continue.

  5. In What Ami knows, add anything guests often ask that your setup doesn't cover, such as breakfast, parking, directions or pets. You can also click Attach a document to add a PDF, Word or text file.

  6. Click Finish setup.

Ami now suggests a reply each time you open a conversation. Next to the page title you'll see Ami free until and the date your trial ends.

I can't see the Try Ami for free button. Why?

Check that you are on a computer, not the mobile view. If you have already used your free trial, the button no longer appears, because each property gets one trial.

How do I know when my trial ends?

The end date shows next to the page title in Conversations, and under Ami subscription in Inbox settings. Before your trial ends, a reminder appears at the top of Conversations and we send you an email.

What happens when my free trial ends?

Ami stops writing and sending replies, and you answer your guests yourself again. Nothing is charged, because no card was needed for the trial. To keep Ami, click Keep Ami in the reminder at the top of Conversations before your trial ends, or Turn Ami back on after it ends, then click Subscribe. Only the account owner or someone with access to billing can do this.
