How to handle passive invoices in Italy 🇮🇹🧾

What is the Recipient Code? 🤔

The Recipient Code is a crucial identifier used to correctly receive invoices. Your Recipient Code will automatically appear in the Passive Invoices tab within Amenitiz as soon as you activate passive invoicing.

Steps to manage passive invoices on Amenitiz 👩🏽‍💻

Here's how to ensure your passive invoices are managed correctly:

1️⃣ Activate passive invoicing
Before you start receiving passive invoices, you need to enter your VAT number by clicking on Invoices > invoices > company information > edit. After entering the VAT number, scroll down to the Passive invoicing and electronic receipt section and click the Activate button and then Save. 

2️⃣ Find your Recipient Code
Once connected, your Recipient Code will automatically appear in the Passive Invoices tab within Amenitiz. This code is essential for identifying your property when suppliers issue an invoice.

3️⃣ Receiving invoices from suppliers
When a supplier issues an invoice using your Recipient Code, it will automatically appear in the Invoices > invoices > Passive invoices section of your Amenitiz platform. 

4️⃣ Download invoices in XML format
Once the invoices are available in the Passive Invoices tab, you can download them in XML format for easy archiving and sharing with your accounting team.
