Step-by-step guide

1. Create your Review Widget with Elfsight

To bring external reviews onto your site, you'll first need to create a widget through Elfsight—a third-party tool that makes integration easy.

  • Go to Elfsight — Visit Elfsight.com and create an account.
  • Add a new app — Click “Add New App” once logged in.
  • Select a platform — Choose Google Reviews, TripAdvisor, Facebook, etc.
  • Create your widget — Click “+ Widget” and pick a template.
  • Search for your hotel — Find your listing and connect it.
  • Access embed code — Click “View Plans”, then open the 3-dot menu and select “Embed code”.
  • Copy the code — You’ll paste this into your Amenitiz website in the next step.

📌 Note

Elfsight is a third-party service. While Amenitiz doesn't manage your Elfsight account, their interface is user-friendly and perfect for hoteliers with no coding background.

💡 Tip

Be sure to store your Elfsight login somewhere safe in case you need to update or modify the widget later.

 

2. Add the Review Widget to your Amenitiz Website

Now that you’ve got your code, it’s time to display those lovely reviews on your site.

  1. In your Amenitiz Admin, go to the Website Builder by clicking on Website > website > customize.
  2. Navigate to the page where you'd like the reviews to appear.
  3. Click “+ Add an Element”.
  4. Select “Custom code block”.
  5. Click “Content”, then choose “Open Code Editor”.
  6. Paste the embed code you copied from Elfsight.
  7. Click “Save”.

You can always preview the page to see how the widget looks before publishing.
