Overview
Set the cleaning fee Airbnb adds to every booking on a room — a fixed amount per stay (not per night) that appears at checkout. Configured per room in the Channel Manager, just like advance notice. Use the optional short-term cleaning fee if you want to charge a different amount on stays of 1–2 nights.
Before you start
Cleaning fees are charged per stay, not per night — this matches Airbnb's policy. A 7-night and a 2-night stay pay the same cleaning fee.
The fee is configured per room — no global setting. Repeat the change on each Airbnb-connected room with its own fee.
Adding a cleaning fee makes it mandatory at booking. The guest can't opt out.
This path only works for Airbnb listings connected through Amenitiz's direct Channel Manager. Third-party connectors (WuBook, etc.) don't expose this here.
Step 1 — Open the Airbnb settings for a room
In the sidebar, go to
Channel Manager.Click the
OTAStab.Scroll to Active Connections and click Airbnb.
On the room row, click the three-dot menu (⋯) and select Airbnb settings.
Step 2 — Set the cleaning fee on the Pricings tab
On the settings page, click the Pricings tab.
Scroll to the Standard fees and charges section.
Enter your amount in Cleaning fee. This is the fee charged on every Airbnb stay.
Optional: enter a different amount in Short term cleaning fee if you charge differently for 1–2 night stays.
Click Update at the bottom right of the page.
Repeat for any other Airbnb-connected room with its own cleaning fee.
