How to understand the INSEE Report

Monthly INSEE report for French properties — occupied rooms per day, arrivals and nights by nationality. Open it in Reports, under Compliance, and export it.

Overview

The INSEE Report is a monthly summary available to French properties. It contains:

  • Number of occupied rooms per day of the month

  • Number of arrivals per nationality

  • Number of nights per nationality

Before you start

  • Your property's country must be set to France in Property → General. If it isn't, the INSEE report won't appear in Reports.

  • The report uses data from your client files. If the country field is empty on any guest for the bookings of the month, those entries will appear as "Unknown country" and your figures will be wrong.

Step by step

  1. Click Reports in the main menu.

  2. Under All reports by category, find Compliance and click INSEE. You can also type its name in Search reports.

  3. Set the Period to the month you need to declare.

  4. To keep a copy, click Export and choose Export to Excel, or click Email to send it. See How to download or email your reports.
