When the same guest appears more than once in your client list, merge their records into one. The merged file keeps all the bookings, invoices, comments, and vouchers from both — so your history stays complete and your reports stop double-counting.
You merge two clients at a time. Pick the one to keep (the principal) and the duplicate to fold into it (the secondary) — the secondary is then permanently removed.
Before you start
Merging is permanent — it cannot be undone.
Double-check that the two records are really the same person before confirming.
Step-by-step guide
1. Open the merge tool
From the admin sidebar, click Clients. On the top right of the Clients page, click Merge clients.
2. Pick the two clients and choose what to keep
Search for the principal client (the one that will survive) and the secondary client (the duplicate to fold in). For each field — name, email, phone, address, language, company details, legal documents — tick the value you want to keep on the merged record.
3. Review and confirm
Click Merge client cards. A preview shows the resulting merged file. When you're sure, click Confirm merge.
Important rules
The principal client is kept. The secondary client is permanently deleted.
The following are transferred to the principal: bookings, invoices, comments, vouchers, payments, transactions, emails, booking modifications, and pre-authorisations.
Saved credit cards on the secondary client are not transferred — they are removed with the secondary record.
You can pick which client's value to keep for 17 fields: name, email, phone, language, company name and registration number, legal document type and number, currency, tax code, address, city, province, ZIP, and country.
The two clients must be different records — you can't merge a client with itself.
Only two clients at a time. To consolidate more, repeat the merge.

Can I merge more than two clients at once?
No, only two at a time. If you have three or more duplicates, merge them in pairs: first into a single surviving record, then merge that record with the next duplicate.
What happens to the bookings, invoices, and vouchers of the duplicate client?
What happens to the bookings, invoices, and vouchers of the duplicate client?
They are all transferred to the principal client — including bookings, invoices, comments, vouchers, payments, transactions, emails, booking modifications, and pre-authorisations. The merged file keeps the full history.
Are saved credit cards transferred too?
Are saved credit cards transferred too?
No. Credit cards saved on the secondary client are deleted along with that record. If you want to keep a card on file, make sure the principal client is the one that already has it — or re-add it after the merge.
I clicked Merge by mistake. Can you recover the deleted client?
I clicked Merge by mistake. Can you recover the deleted client?
Unfortunately no — the secondary client is permanently removed when you confirm. The merged file still contains all the associated bookings and history, but the deleted client record itself cannot be restored.
