Overview
With Amenitiz you can run your own blog directly on your website. A blog with good articles helps you rank better on search engines like Google and gives you another way to engage future guests.
This article walks through how to switch the blog on and add it to your website's menu.
Before you start
You need the Can edit the website permission to activate the blog and edit menus. If the buttons described below don't appear, ask your Account Owner to grant that access.
Activating the blog only prepares your site — you still need to add a link to your menu (step 2) and write your articles. See how to manage the blog articles and categories once it's set up.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Activate the blog
Go to
Website→Blogin the sidebar.Click
Activate the blog!. Your website is then ready to host the blog.
2. Add the blog to your menu
Go to
Website→Menus. Click the 3 dots next to the menu you want to change (the header menu is at the top of your site, the footer is at the bottom), then clickEdit a menu.Click
Add menu item. If more than one button has that name, pick the last one in the list.Add a title for the new item (it'll be displayed on your website) and select
Blog indexfrom the link dropdown.Click
AddandSave. A new link to your blog is now live on your site.
3. Change the blog's appearance

Activation only prepares the site. You still need to add a menu link (step 2 above) so visitors can reach it, and create your first article via how to manage the blog articles and categories.

Yes. Repeat step 2 for each menu you want it on — open the header menu and add a Blog index item, then do the same for the footer menu.
