Overview
If your property has several identical rooms — four Double Standard rooms, for example — you can tell Airbnb how many there are. Airbnb then sells that one listing as multiple units instead of a single room.
This is set per listing, under Bookable units.

The room must be connected to an Airbnb listing. See How to map your rooms to Airbnb listings.
The rooms must be genuinely interchangeable. Guests booking this listing can be given any one of them.
Whole-house and entire-home listings cannot use bookable units. Airbnb treats them as a single home, so the section tells you it does not apply.
Step by step
Go to
Channel Managerin the sidebar.Click the
Active connectionstab and click your Airbnb connection.Click
Airbnb settingson the room's row.Click
Bookable unitsunderForms.Enter the number under
How many of this room type do you have?Click
Save changes.
The section then summarises the listing as Sold as a single unit or Inventory mode with the number of identical units.
⚠️ Warning
Check your calendar after saving. Once you set more than one unit, Airbnb switches the listing to inventory mode, and dates that were previously blocked may reopen for booking.

Enter a whole number of 1 or more. One unit means the listing is sold as a single room.
Count only rooms a guest would consider identical. A guest booking the listing may be given any of them.

Switching a listing to inventory mode changes how Airbnb reads its availability, and dates blocked under the old single-unit setup can reopen. Check the calendar for that listing straight after saving and block anything that should stay closed.

Either works. Separate listings give each room its own photos and description; bookable units keeps one listing and lets Airbnb sell several of them. If the rooms are genuinely identical, bookable units is less to maintain.
