How to prepare your OpenPro account for connection with Amenitiz

Prepare your OpenPro (Alliance Réseaux) account for connection to Amenitiz: matching accommodations, stock-management mode, prices and availabilities, then contact support to launch the connection.

If your property is referenced by a French Tourist Office (Office de Tourisme), it may already be on OpenPro — also known as Alliance Réseaux. Amenitiz can connect to OpenPro so that your availability stays in sync with your local tourist office distribution.

OpenPro is set up differently from most OTAs, in two ways. First, the connection is launched by our support team together with OpenPro — not from your dashboard. Second, the connection only synchronises availability (the opening and closing of your rooms): prices and restrictions are not pushed by Amenitiz and remain managed directly in OpenPro, both before and after the connection. Before you contact us, your OpenPro account needs to be ready. This guide walks you through every prerequisite.

Before you start

  • You must have an active OpenPro account with your local Tourist Office or Alliance Réseaux contact.

  • You need to know your OpenPro Property ID — your Alliance Réseaux contact can provide it.

  • All accommodations you want to sell on OpenPro must already exist in your Amenitiz account. If not, create them first.

  • If you have more than one OpenPro account, they must be merged into a single account before the connection — ask your Alliance Réseaux or Tourist Office contact to do this.

Step-by-step

1. Match the number of accommodations on both sides

The number of accommodations on OpenPro must be at least equal to the number on Amenitiz.

  • If you have fewer accommodations on OpenPro than on Amenitiz, create the missing ones on OpenPro. You can hide them from the public Tourist Office website if you don't want them sold there.

  • All accommodations must sit on one single OpenPro account — Amenitiz can only connect one OpenPro account per hotel.

2. Switch OpenPro to "stock management" mode

The OpenPro account must be set to stock management so the connection can push availability correctly. You can check this from your OpenPro planning: with stock management enabled, each accommodation shows three lines (Reservations / Rate / Stock) instead of two.

You can change this from your OpenPro planning, or ask your Alliance Réseaux / Tourist Office contact (or OpenPro support) to switch the mode for you.

Two important points when switching:

  • If your accommodations are recreated as part of the switch to stock management, make sure your existing reservation files ("dossiers") are transferred to the new accommodations so no booking data is lost. This must be done before the connection.

  • Any accommodation that is not switched to stock management must be deleted from the account before the connection can be launched.

3. Set prices and availabilities on OpenPro

Prices and availabilities must be set on OpenPro for every accommodation before the connection is launched. Once the connection is active, Amenitiz will keep your availability in sync, but prices and restrictions continue to be managed in OpenPro — so make sure your rates are complete and correct.

4. Contact Amenitiz support with your Property ID

When everything above is done, contact our support team and provide your OpenPro Property ID. We will:

  • Coordinate with OpenPro (Alliance Réseaux) or your Tourist Office to have the API connection activated on their side

  • Add your Property ID to your Amenitiz account

  • Map each OpenPro room to its matching Amenitiz accommodation

  • Activate the connection so availability starts flowing

Important rules

  • Accommodation count must be sufficient. OpenPro must have at least as many accommodations as Amenitiz.

  • One OpenPro account only. Amenitiz connects to a single OpenPro account per hotel. Multiple accounts must be merged first.

  • Stock management mode is mandatory. Without it, availability cannot be pushed.

  • Prices and availabilities must exist on OpenPro before activation — and prices remain managed in OpenPro after activation.

  • The connection is a joint activation. It is set up by Amenitiz support and requires activation and approval on the OpenPro (Alliance Réseaux) side; it cannot be launched from your dashboard.

FAQs

Is OpenPro the same as Alliance Réseaux?

Yes. OpenPro is the channel manager product run by Alliance Réseaux, used by many French Tourist Offices to manage local distribution.

Can I activate the OpenPro connection myself from Amenitiz?

No. OpenPro connections are set up by Amenitiz support once we receive your Property ID and the prerequisites are verified, and they also require activation on the OpenPro (Alliance Réseaux) side. You don't need to do anything in your Amenitiz dashboard.

Where do I find my OpenPro Property ID?

Your Alliance Réseaux contact or the local Tourist Office that set up your OpenPro account can provide it.

What if I have more accommodations on Amenitiz than on OpenPro?

Create the missing accommodations on OpenPro before contacting support. You can hide them from the public Tourist Office website if you only want certain rooms sold there, but they need to exist in OpenPro for the mapping to work.

Do I still need to manage prices on OpenPro after the connection is live?

Yes. The OpenPro connection only synchronises availability — the opening and closing of your rooms. Prices and restrictions are not pushed by Amenitiz, so you must continue to manage them directly in OpenPro.

What happens to my existing OpenPro reservations when I switch to stock management?

If your accommodations need to be recreated when switching to stock management mode, ask your Alliance Réseaux or Tourist Office contact to transfer your reservation files ("dossiers") to the new accommodations before the connection is launched, so no booking data is lost.
