How to update your property's general information (name, address and contact)

Edit the general information of your property — name, address and contact details — from Property → General.

Updated this week

Overview

This article shows you how to update the general information of your property: the property name, the address, and the contact details (phone and email). These fields live on the Property → General page and are used by your website, Booking Engine and connected OTAs.

Use this article when your property name changes, when you move, or when your reception phone or email changes.

Before you start

  • Only the account owner or a user with Admin/Editor access can change these fields.

  • Changes push to connected OTAs automatically, but OTA review can take up to 48 hours for address changes.

  • Descriptions, photos, amenities and check-in/out times are managed on their own pages — not here.

Step-by-step instructions

  • In the sidebar, click PropertyGeneral.

  • Update the fields you need:

    • Property name — shown on your website, Booking Engine and OTAs.

    • Legal name — shown on invoices.

    • Address — street, postcode, city, country, coordinates.

    • Phone — reception phone for guest communications.

    • Email — reception email for guest communications.

  • Click Save → the new details sync to your website and OTAs.

📌 Note

Address changes may require re-verification from Booking.com or Expedia. Plan the change outside high-demand periods.

FAQs

Where do I edit my property description, amenities or photos?

Those fields live on their own dedicated pages under Property, not on General. The General page is only for the property name, address and contact details.

How long does it take for OTAs to reflect the update?

Most fields propagate within a few minutes. Address changes may need OTA review and can take up to 48 hours.

What phone and email should I enter?

Use the phone and email your reception monitors for guest enquiries — OTAs forward guest messages to these contacts.
