Overview
You can change the arrival and departure dates of a reservation from its booking details. Dates are edited room by room, so on a multi-room booking you can extend one guest's stay without touching the others — the booking then becomes a split booking.
When you confirm, Amenitiz recalculates the room price and the city tax for the new nights.
Before you start
No past dates. You can't move a date into the past. Once the guest has checked in, the arrival date is fixed — you can still change the departure.
OTA reservations can't be edited in Amenitiz (Vrbo is the exception). Ask the guest to change the dates on the OTA, or change them in the OTA's extranet — the change reaches Amenitiz automatically through the channel manager.
Deleted rate plans. If the rate plan used for the booking has been deleted, the dates can't be changed. Create a new reservation with the right dates instead.
Invoiced nights. If the nights you want to change are already on an invoice, Amenitiz refuses the change.
Step by step
Open the reservation — from
Reservationsin the sidebar or from the calendar — to see its booking details.In the list of rooms, click the three-dot menu (
⋯) next to the room you want to change and selectEdit room's dates.Pick the new arrival and/or departure date. Amenitiz checks that the room is available for the new dates.
Click
Confirm dates of stay.
On a multi-room booking, repeat these steps for each room you want to move.

The city tax is recalculated for the new nights. Extras are not adjusted, so check them after the change. Payments already recorded stay on the booking.

It is usually one of these: the reservation came from an OTA, its rate plan has been deleted, the nights are already invoiced, or you're trying to move a date into the past. The message on screen tells you which one applies.

No. Booking.com and other OTA reservations can't be edited in Amenitiz — the dates are changed on the OTA's side and the update arrives in Amenitiz automatically.
