How to split AmenitizPay payments between different bank accounts

Route AmenitizPay payouts to multiple bank accounts when your accommodations have different owners — create one AmenitizPay account per bank, link each room in the Properties tab. Gift cards aren't compatible.

Overview

If you manage several accommodations on behalf of different owners — or your property is split across several legal entities — AmenitizPay can route the payouts to separate bank accounts. You create one AmenitizPay account per bank account, then link each Amenitiz accommodation to the right one. Bookings from that accommodation pay out to that owner's bank.

Payments, payouts, transactions and pre-authorisations can also be filtered per AmenitizPay account, so reporting stays clean per owner.

Before you start

  • Each AmenitizPay account is a full Stripe Express account — it needs its own bank account, owner details, and KYC verification. Have the IBAN, legal entity info and ID documents ready for each owner.

  • An accommodation that isn't linked to an AmenitizPay account can't receive payments. Amenitiz will warn you if some properties are left unassigned after the setup.

  • Gift cards aren't compatible with multi-account AmenitizPay. Gift cards aren't tied to a specific accommodation, so AmenitizPay can't decide which owner's account to route a gift card sale to. If gift cards are essential to you, stay on a single AmenitizPay account.

  • Past bookings made before you set up multiple accounts aren't retroactively split — they continue paying out to whichever account was linked at the time. Only new bookings follow the new mapping.

Create one AmenitizPay account per bank account

  1. Go to AmenitizPayAmenitizPay settings in the sidebar, then open the Accounts tab.

  2. Click Add account and follow the setup flow — enter the owner's legal entity, bank details (IBAN) and ID verification. The account redirects you through Stripe's onboarding flow.

  3. Repeat for every owner / bank account you need. Each one becomes its own row in the Accounts tab.

  4. Wait for each account to clear validation. Stripe may ask for additional documents — you'll see the status next to each account.

From the three-dot menu () next to an account, choose Manage the account to edit the bank IBAN or other details later. You're sent back to the Stripe interface to make changes.

Link each accommodation to an AmenitizPay account

  1. Still in AmenitizPayAmenitizPay settings, click the Properties tab.

  2. You'll see all your Amenitiz accommodations listed on the left. In the Account holder column, pick the AmenitizPay account that should receive payouts for that accommodation.

  3. Example: the accommodation King Suite is owned by Bruce Wayne. Set the Account holder for King Suite to Bruce Wayne's AmenitizPay account. Future booking revenue from that suite flows to his bank account.

  4. Repeat for every accommodation. If any are left unassigned, you'll see a warning at the top — those rooms can't take payments until they're linked.

From here on, the weekly AmenitizPay payout splits across the linked bank accounts based on which accommodation each booking is for.

FAQs

I sell gift cards — can I still split payouts?

No. Gift cards aren't tied to a specific accommodation, so AmenitizPay can't pick which owner's bank account should receive a gift card sale. If you set up multiple AmenitizPay accounts, gift cards become unavailable on your site. If gift cards matter more than splitting payouts, stay on a single AmenitizPay account.

Can I change which AmenitizPay account an accommodation is linked to?

Yes. Go back to AmenitizPayAmenitizPay settingsProperties, find the accommodation and pick a different Account holder. The change applies to future bookings — past bookings continue to pay out to whichever account was linked at the time they were taken.

What happens to bookings I took before setting up multiple accounts?

They keep paying out to the AmenitizPay account that was linked at the moment the booking was paid. The split only applies going forward. If you want to redirect past funds, contact [email protected] — we'll look at what's possible for individual cases.

How do I update an existing AmenitizPay account's bank details?

Go to AmenitizPayAmenitizPay settingsAccounts, click the three-dot menu () next to the account, and select Manage the account. You're redirected to the Stripe interface where you can change the IBAN or other details. The change applies to the next payout.

Can I filter reporting per owner?

Yes. From the dedicated AmenitizPay tabs (Payments, Transactions, Payouts, Authorisations), there's a filter by AmenitizPay account — pick an owner's account and you see only their activity. Useful when sending the monthly statement to each owner.
