Overview

This article explains how to access and understand the INE Survey Report in Amenitiz for properties based in Spain. It also describes how INE XML reports are currently generated, what information is automatically populated, and which limitations still apply.

Before you start

  1. The INE Survey Report is available only for properties located in Spain.

  2. Your property country must be set to Spain in Property → General.

  3. The accuracy of the report depends on the data entered in Amenitiz, especially guest details.

How to access the INE Survey Report

  1. Go to Reports from the main menu of your admin space.

  2. Click on the Reports subsection.

  3. Scroll down to the INE Survey section.

  4. Tick the box to select the report.

  5. Click Next when the pop-up appears to generate the report.

What information the INE Survey Report contains

The INE Survey Report includes:

  • The number of occupied rooms per day for the selected month.

  • The number of arrivals per nationality, including the regional breakdowns required by INE.

  • The number of overnight stays per nationality, including the regional breakdowns required by INE.

How INE XML reporting currently works

Amenitiz generates INE XML reports for Spanish properties using data already available in the platform. Most core operational information is automatically populated, allowing you to generate a partially pre-filled INE XML file without additional setup.

This reporting should be understood as an aid to preparing INE submissions, not as a fully automated regulatory solution.

What data is automatically included

Amenitiz currently populates INE XML data related to:

  • Property identification basics (property name, address elements, province, postal code, phone number).

  • Legal identifiers already stored in Amenitiz (such as CIF or NIF).

  • Inventory and capacity metrics (number of rooms and available places without extra beds).

  • Daily and monthly activity data (entries, departures, overnight stays, rooms occupied).

  • Monthly performance indicators (ADR and RevPAR).

  • Core INE XML blocks, including header, accommodation, and prices.

Current limitations

Some INE requirements are not supported due to product and data model limitations. In these cases, XML fields may exist but appear empty or set to 0, according to INE specifications.

Current limitations include:

  • No advanced pricing or channel breakdowns beyond direct bookings versus OTAs.

  • No staffing or employment-related data.

  • No full separation between hotel and apartment XML structures.

  • No property-type–specific XML formats.

  • No additional configuration options related to INE reporting.

FAQs

Why is my INE Survey Report data incorrect?

This report uses data from your guest files. If the guest country is missing or incorrect for bookings in the selected month, nationality-based data will be inaccurate.

Do I need to configure anything to use INE XML reporting?

No. INE XML reports use existing data already stored in Amenitiz, and no additional setup is required.

Why are some fields empty or set to 0 in the INE XML file?

Some INE requirements are not currently supported. When this happens, affected fields follow INE specifications and may appear empty or set to 0.

Does Amenitiz provide full INE compliance?

No. INE XML reporting in Amenitiz provides improved pre-filled reports but is not a complete regulatory solution.

Can INE still reject my report?

Yes. Depending on INE requirements, manual completion or adjustments may still be needed before submission.
