Copy rates takes a period you have already priced and applies those prices to another period — most often the same dates one year later. It keeps weekend prices on weekends and moves holiday prices onto the dates the holidays fall on in the new period, so a Saturday rate never lands on a Wednesday.

You choose the dates, the rooms and the rate plans, set the rules, and see the exact price every night will get before anything is saved.

Before you start

You need a period that already has prices set for the rooms and rate plans you want to copy.

Only nights from today onwards change. Nights that have already passed are left as they are.

Step by step

Go to Inventory in the sidebar.
Click Copy rates in the toolbar, next to Bulk update. The button sits on both Global view and Rate plans.
Under Copy from, pick the dates that already carry the prices you want. Choose one of the shortcuts, or My own dates and set the First night and Last night yourself.
Under Copy into, choose The same dates, one year later, or A start date I choose and set your own Start copying from date. A copy always covers the same number of nights as the period you are copying from.
Select the rooms and the rate plans to include, then click Continue.
On Rules, leave Keep weekend prices on weekends switched on. Every night then takes its price from the same day of the week in the period you are copying from.
Leave Move holiday prices to the new dates switched on. Amenitiz finds the holidays for your country and moves your holiday pricing — and the three days either side — onto the dates those holidays fall on in the new period.
Under Copy your restrictions too, tick the ones that should travel with the prices: Minimum stay, Maximum stay, No check-in on this day, No check-out on this day. Leave them all unticked to copy prices only.
To raise the copied prices at the same time, go to Raise your prices at the same time, choose Add a percentage or Add a fixed amount and enter the amount. Click Continue.
On Preview, read the cards at the top — Prices to set, Nights covered, Weekend nights kept and Nights to review — then use the month calendar to check the price each night will get. Nothing has been saved yet.
Open Dates to check to see the nights the copy cannot price. Those nights keep the prices they have today.
Click Looks right, continue.
Read the recap, then click Save these prices.

The copy runs in the background, so you can leave the page. Your new prices go out to your connected channels on their own, and you get an email summary when it is done.

⚠️ Warning

Prices that already exist in the dates you copy into are replaced, for the rooms and rate plans you selected. There is no one-click undo, so check the preview calendar before you save.

📌 Note

A weekend night means a Friday or a Saturday night. Those are the nights counted under Weekend nights kept.

FAQs

What happens to prices that are already set in the dates I copy into?

They are replaced by the copied prices, for the rooms and rate plans you selected. Rooms and rate plans you did not select are left exactly as they are.

Why is one of my rate plans missing from the list?

Rate plans that work out their price from another plan cannot be picked. They carry the badge Updates on its own and take their new prices as soon as the copy finishes. To change how one of them is calculated, see How to find, create and manage a rate plan.

What does Nights to review mean?

Those are nights with no price to copy and no standard price for the room. The copy leaves them with the prices they have today. Dates to check on the preview step lists every one of them, so you can price them by hand afterwards.

Does it change nights that have already passed?

No. Nights before today are left alone. Everything from today onwards is copied as shown in the preview.

Do my connected channels get the new prices?

Yes. The new prices go out to your connected channels once the copy finishes, and you get an email summary at the same time.

Can I run two copies at the same time?

No. If a copy is still running, the page tells you so and emails you when it finishes. Start the next one after that.

Can I undo a copy?

Not in one click. Run a second copy to put the original prices back over those dates, change a single night from the calendar (see How to change price and availability for a specific day), or use the Bulk Update tool for a date range. Changes made by a copy appear in your activity log as Copied from another period.
